Copilot found something unexpected and delightful in the mandala I gave it as a start point

From my perspective this was a relatively simple mandala, so I was surprised when the first stained glass design Microsoft Copilot generated from it was complex, the second while simpler still didn’t capture the look I was hoping for, the one at the very top of the post captured the colors and simplicity, even if the shape is quite different from the starting point. A reminder that AI is going to follow unexpected paths, adding to the creation and creative process.
